CNIC front and back on one page

Need a “copy of CNIC” for a job form, bank, school admission or a SIM? Take a photo of each side of your NADRA card. This tool straightens both, prints them at the real card size on one A4 page and gives you a PDF or JPG. Nothing is uploaded.

Tip: drag the four dots onto the four corners of the card. The tool straightens it into a flat, true-size card. Scans that are already cropped can be left as they are.

How to make a CNIC copy with both sides on one page

  1. Take a photo of the front of your CNIC on a dark, plain surface, without flash.
  2. Drag the four dots onto the corners of the card. The tool straightens it and sizes it to 85.6 × 54 mm, the real size of the NADRA card.
  3. Take a photo of the back (the side with the address) the same way.
  4. Choose “Photocopy” under Look if you want the usual black-and-white CNIC copy, or keep colour.
  5. Download the PDF and print on A4 at Actual size, or download the JPG to upload online.

When you need a CNIC copy

A photocopy of the CNIC, both sides on one sheet, is part of almost every application in Pakistan:

For an attested copy, print the page and have it signed and stamped by the officer the form names (commonly a Grade-17 or higher officer). A digital tool can’t attest; it gives you a clean copy to attest.

Upload limits for online forms

Many online portals want the CNIC as one image or a small PDF. Tick Small file before downloading: the JPG is then made at 150 dpi, which keeps both sides readable while usually staying well under 500 KB. If a portal wants front and back as separate files, download the page twice, with only the front, then only the back, added.

CNIC size and layout

Card size85.6 × 54 mm (ID-1, the same as a bank card)
FrontPhoto, name, father’s or husband’s name, CNIC number and dates
BackPresent and permanent address, plus security features
Usual copyFront above back, centred on A4, black and white

The same tool works for any other card of the standard size. For a card of another size, choose Custom size and type in its measurements.

Your CNIC stays on your phone. The photos are processed by your browser and never sent to a server. Only share CNIC copies with organisations that genuinely need them, and write the purpose across the copy if you are worried about misuse (for example “For bank account opening only”).

Frequently asked questions

What size is a CNIC?

The NADRA smart CNIC is a standard ID-1 card, 85.6 × 54 mm, the same size as a bank card. The tool uses that size, so the copy matches the real card when printed at 100%.

Does it work for the old CNIC and for NICOP?

Yes. The tool works with any card that is 85.6 × 54 mm. If a card is a different size, measure it and enter its width and height under “Card size”.

Can I make a black and white photocopy?

Yes. Choose “Photocopy” under Look. It turns the card into clean black and white with a white background, like a shop photocopy.

A form says “upload CNIC front and back in one image”. Can I do that?

Yes. Use “Download JPG”. You get one image with both sides on it. If the form has a file-size limit, choose the “Small file” option before downloading.

Is it safe to put my CNIC on a website?

Here the card never leaves your phone or computer: the photos are processed by your browser and no copy is sent to us or anyone else. Still, only share CNIC copies with organisations that need them.
